software, in nearly all the language combinations we normally offer. We have professional
translators able to offer their services at greatly reduced costs in many languages, and
we ourselves cut our co-ordination and project management charges. Because our discounted
translation service is offered by professional individuals (our
translators, and ourselves managing the service) who are investing their time and skills
in helping others, or in supporting the distribution of freeware and shareware software,
each and every project must be carefully considered, and each request for discounted
translations services will receive a personal response.
If you do not fall into the non-profit / charity category or are not a
developer of freeware or shareware software, please do not ask us to offer you a special
discounted price: we will however be pleased to offer discounts to companies, associations
or individuals for particular initiatives with a charitable background.
What we ask in return
Should you be eligible and approved for our discounted
translation service, we request a credit with a link to our site
among the “credits” at the end of the text, in an appropriate place on the
translated and localized web page or in the software. A discreet and non-invasive credit
or link allows us to continue to offer discounted translation services to other
organizations who could benefit, and to present ourselves to potential new clients. Each
project will therefore be subject to agreements which satisfy both your needs and our
expectations.
How to request a discounted translation
Complete the quotation request
section, selecting the appropriate response from the “Type of Client” menu:
“Non-profit entity or organization” or “Company in other sector”, and
clearly specifying the type of project, quantity of text and your request for a
translation at a discounted price. All requests will be individually considered, and you
will be contacted to discuss the proposed project or if we need further information.
