competing sites and gain insight into any particular characteristics of local search
services.
The service includes:
a) Up to date report on the online characteristics of the chosen linguistic area (nations
involved, data on the online population, Internet usage statistics).
b) Research into possible web competitors in the linguistic area and the indicated market,
with the production of a report containing a list of sites, brief descriptions of the
contents and mission of each, search engine positions for the principal keywords indicated
or relevant to the sites themselves. Up to 10 competing sites will be researched.
c) Up to date report on the major search services used in the indicated linguistic area,
and on any thematic portals in the relevant market (their existence, market share, site
registration characteristics).
